Profile Summary

For the past 2 years, I have served as Chief Data Science & Technology Officer at a data startup, spearheading the creation and implementation of innovative products. Before that, I held the position of Managing Director for Machine Learning and Analytics at JP Morgan Chase, leading a talented team focused on model development and AI solutions. My career journey began with building machine learning and data products at renowned companies like Google and Microsoft, solidifying a foundation in various domains and software engineering.

Prashant led data science initiatives at Google. He built predictive maintenance Solutions, and anomaly detection use cases at Google for auto, flight landings.  He played a key role in the Google Kaggle acquisition and architected how data science competitions can be executed on highly confidential data on Google Cloud.

At Microsoft, Prashant worked on Azure ML, Bing, and SQL Server products.  While working for bing.com Prashant built an Audience intelligence platform for Microsoft. The audience intelligence platform is used for Behavioral Targeting on all Microsoft properties such as bing.com, msn.com, Hotmail, etc. 

Technical Proficiency and Data Governance:

Equipped with a Master's degree in Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, I possess deep expertise in leveraging AI, Generative AI, and software engineering to build impactful data products. My diverse experience encompasses numerous industry sectors, allowing me to apply my analytical and data science skills effectively. Additionally, I am adept in Data Governance, Data Quality, and managing privacy initiatives, ensuring responsible and ethical data handling practices. 

Notably, I recently led the development of KREATE, KONTROLS, and KNOBS, a suite of products designed to facilitate well-governed data product creation within an organization.

My skillset encompasses both strategic thinking and the ability to execute effectively, allowing me to contribute at various levels within your organization. I wrote a book on SQL Server, tech edited an analytics book, and wrote a chapter on machine learning in NOAA book.   I have written papers on machine learning and generative AI.

Prashant also has expertise in handling data privacy, governance, differential privacy and applying machine learning for user/audience data. He has built an Audience Intelligence store for Behavior targeting at Microsoft.  He enabled applying data science on highly confidential data on Google-Kaggle. At JPMC too he built methods to handle privacy and data governance.
